How to integrate the board into your heater

The GPO iotHub TPCB control board was designed to slot into an existing heater production line, not to rebuild it. This is the actual procedure our OEM partners follow.

Five steps to a smart heater

  1. 1

    Purchase the IoT Hub board

Order the GPO iotHub TPCB control boards for your production batch.

  2. 2

    Register the board serial numbers

Each board serial number is registered under your manufacturer account, linking every produced unit to your vendor dashboard.

  3. 3

Install the board in the product

Mount the board in the heater body: 120 × 40 mm footprint, M3 mounting, assembled height up to 29 mm.

  4. 4

Connect the board to the Internet

The board joins the network over Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n, 2.4 GHz); Bluetooth remains available for offline control.

  5. 5

    Verify operation

Check the unit through the web page or the mobile application — temperature control, schedule, statistics.

Mechanical integration

The board fits most panel, convector and towel-rail bodies without redesigning the enclosure.

  • Board dimensions 120 × 40 mm, PCB thickness 1.6 mm
  • Assembled height up to 29 mm
  • M3 mounting points
  • BLE/Wi-Fi antenna on the board — no external antenna to route
  • Display cut-out reference drawing available in Downloads

Electrical connection

Standard mains connection, silent triac switching, no relay to wear out.

  • Supply 230 V AC, maximum load 3 kW
  • Triac switching — no relay click
  • Inputs for two temperature sensors (room and surface)
  • Wiring diagram available in Downloads

How long does it take on the line?

After the first pilot batch, mounting and connecting the board becomes a standard assembly-line operation. The exact takt time depends on your enclosure; we help set up the first production run and share the process documentation used by existing partners.
