Radio equipment (RED)
The radio section is covered by the module manufacturer: the board uses the Espressif ESP32-SOLO-1 module, RED test report B2006197. Integrating a pre-certified module keeps the radio part of your own compliance file simple.
RoHS
Compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by (EU) 2015/863, demonstrated via the EN IEC 63000 documentation route.
Authorisation Letter for OEM partners
When you integrate the GPO iotHub TPCB into your heater, GPO issues an Authorisation Letter that permits your company to reference this evidence base — certificates, test reports and the technical file — in your own UK/EU Declaration of Conformity.
In practice this means your notified body receives a complete, traceable documentation package without you re-testing the electronics — typically the longest and most expensive part of certifying a smart heater.
Scope and limitations
The certificates above were obtained for the board as part of the GPO S 100 heater. The board is not certified as a standalone component: after integration into your product, the final device (heater + board) requires its own conformity assessment. The Authorisation Letter and our test evidence are designed to make that assessment as fast as possible — see the FAQ for what your notified body will ask for.
